Can I apply for the Hispano Card from anywhere?

A: The Hispano Card can be requested online throughout the United States.

Is a minimum amount required to open the Hispano Card?

A: No minimum opening amount is required

Can I use the card to schedule monthly payments?

A: Yes, your Hispano Card Prepaid Mastercard has an individual account number and bank routing number, allowing you to schedule direct monthly card payments.

Can I request additional Hispano Cards for my account?

A: No, we are currently unable to offer additional cards per account.

Can I use my Hispano Card outside the United States?

A: Yes, you can use your card to make purchases and withdraw money internationally.

Should I keep a minimum balance to avoid fees?

A: No, the Hispano Card Prepaid Mastercard does not require a minimum balance at any time.

What is the meaning of USA PATRIOT Act? *

Using the Card

Where can I send money to?

A: At the moment the only countries available for international money transfer are Mexico and Nicaragua, however we are working on expanding our service to more countries.

Where can I reload it?

A: There are more than 100,000 reload locations in the United States, for more information and to find the ones nearest to you go to: www.hispanocard.com

Does Hispano Card charge fees for account management?

A: No, the Hispano Card does not charge a fee for account management 2. However, it has an Inactivity Fee that applies if the Card has not had any transactions in the last 120 days, that is, no purchases; no cash withdrawals; no load transactions; or no card transfers.

What should I do if my card is stolen or lost?

A: Call 1.844.422.7301 (1.844.HCARD01) to request the cancellation and replacement of your Card.

Do you send account statements to the cardholder’s address?

A: No, our policy is paperless, you can review, save and print your statements online at www.hispanocard.com

Limits and Fees

 

Does the Hispano Card have any limit to reload it?

A: Yes, the maximum balance at any time is $ 5,000 USD. There is also a maximum limit of 2 loads per day, 4 loads per week and 10 loads per month for a cumulative total of $ 9,500 USD per month. For a complete list of limits please review the Terms and Conditions.

Do I need to keep a minimum balance to avoid charges?

A: No, the Hispano Card does not require a minimum balance.

Where can my relatives withdraw money abroad?

A: Your relatives will be able to withdraw cash at any ATM 4, and make purchases at millions of locations where Mastercard Debit is accepted.
